On September 9th, Céline took part in the fundraiser “Stand Up to Cancer”, which aired live on every major Canadian and American TV network. After taking calls from generous donors, Céline offered up a moving performance of her new song “Recovering”. The fight against cancer is very important to Céline since she lost her husband René, her father Adhémar and her brother Daniel to this disease. The event, with Bradley Cooper serving as executive producer, raised 111 million dollars for the cause.
