Céline a passé une année 2004 fantastique! Son spectacle de Las Vegas, A New Day..., a remporté beaucoup de succès pour sa seconde année, et a vendu son millionième billet. Céline a également lancé Celine Dion Parfum Notes, pour étendre la gamme originale des Parfums Céline Dion. Un autre évènement important de l’année 2004 a été la sortie de ‘Miracle’, un ensemble de chansons et de photos fait en collaboration avec Anne Geddes. Au mois d’août, nous avons demandé aux membres d’ÉquipeCéline de nous parler de leur moment préféré avec Céline de l’année 2004. Les membres d’ÉquipeCéline qui ont envoyé les réponses suivantes recevront une photo dédicacée de Céline.

I loved the Miracle project as it highlights the never-ending unconditional love a mother has for her child. The beautiful photos show just how precious, innocent and pure these gorgeous babies are and that new life is truly a miracle. My children mean the world to me and nothing else matters more. The deep love I have for them is beyond words.

My favourite Celine moment of 2004 has to be the release of the CD, ‘Miracle.’ I have considered all of Celine's releases to be personal to her in some way, but in this release you can feel all of her passion with each note and breath. Seeing her on Oprah to publicize the CD and book was amazing. Very few celebrities open themselves up to their fans in the way that Celine does. I bought ‘Miracle’ the day it was released and I have yet to take it out of my CD player in my car. Celine is the greatest entertainer in the world and continues to outdo herself.

En tant que jeune maman, la sortie de l'album ‘Miracle’ avec les photos de Céline en compagnie des enfants est pour moi le meilleur et le plus émouvant moment de l'année 2004. Céline est magnifique sur toutes les photos et toute la douceur, la tendresse qui se dégagent des photos reflètent bien la personnalité de Céline. Tous les bébés sont apaisés dans ses bras. Etre Maman ne s'apprend pas, cela est inné et Céline fait partie de celles qui ont cette tendresse maternelle dans la peau , pour le plus grand bonheur de son René-Charles......

No doubt about it: The 2004 Grammy Awards. The way she handled the technical problems and managed to sing “Dance With my Father” live…it just blew me away.
I could really feel the love for her own father in that song and the way she sang it. She proved not only to be (technically) the best singer in the universe, but also that she is a singer who can put so much emotion in her songs.

La prestation de Céline au Grammy's en février je crois. Malgré les problèmes de son, elle a agit de façon très professionnelle en enlevant ses oreillettes et en faisant comme si tout était normal. Elle a contrôlé la situation. Et que dire de cette prestation sublime ou elle interprétait “Dance With my Father”!!!

My favourite moment was when Celine was on the Ellen Degeneres show. I love to see Ellen and her guests laugh…and that they did. The skit they did together was great. Topped off with a great singing performance once again.

I loved watching Celine on Regis and Kelly, Oprah, Ellen, and Jay Leno because you got to see a side of her that you usually do not get to see when she is performing.

My favourite Celine moment of 2004 had to be at the World Music Awards. When she performed “Love Can Move Mountains”, and was presented with the lifetime achievement award for being the greatest selling female artist of all time. The thing that stands out to me about that award is that she did not win it because of her latest album, but because of everything that she has done over the years. It was an award that she truly deserved.

In June of 2004, we were able to fulfill a wish of our two young granddaughters (ages 6 and 10). We flew with them to Vegas and took them to see their idol in person. This was their first vacation ever, and they sang and danced through the entire show. In 2003, they had lost their little brother, age 3. This was such a treat for us, as we got to see Celine again, this time through the eyes of our sweet granddaughters and it put such a smile on their faces. It was a dream come true for all of us.

My favourite Celine moment of 2004 was seeing Celine in concert again during the One Nite with Lite concert in New York. This moment was special to me because it gave me the opportunity to see her again as the chance of seeing her show in Vegas was slim. Moreover, I met some other fans after the show. This was my first time meeting other fans and it was a wonderful experience to be surrounded by them. One thing is for sure… Celine Dion brings fans together.
