L’année 2002 a été formidable pour Céline! Après un congé de deux ans, elle est revenue au sommet des palmarès avec l’album ‘A New Day Has Come’, elle a participé à des émissions de télévision à travers le monde et a entamé les préparatifs pour son nouveau spectacle tout à fait unique A NEW DAY… Nous avons récemment demandé aux membres d’ÉquipeCéline quel était leur moment préféré comme fan de Céline en 2002. Leur réaction a été extraordinaire et nous avons voulu la partager avec vous… Les membres d’ÉquipeCéline qui nous ont fait parvenir les compte-rendus suivants vont recevoir une copie du simple qui a lancé le tout - “A New Day Has Come”. My favorite Céline moment of 2002 was when she stuck her gum under
the wooden table on "The View". This incident had my laughing
hysterically, and really showed casual fans Céline's comedian
side. Sans aucun doute lorsque j'ai assisté à l'enregistrement de
La Fureur. J'étais situé près de la scène.
D'où j'étais, on pouvait voir l'arrière-scène.
Lorsque Céline arrive, avant d'interpréter A New Day Has
Come, je lui ai fait un signe de la main et elle m'a répondu.
C'est mon plus merveilleux souvenir cette année. It was when Céline left the press conference in La Louvière
(October 21). When she passed the crowd, she got out of her car to give
signatures. A few minutes later I was able to hand over this huge world
cup from the Belgian fan club to her and looking surprised she said
"C'est pour moi??". That was so sweet!!! En mars 2002, j'étais à Toronto pour études. Céline
y est venue pour une interview. J'ai eu la chance de l'apercevoir pour
quelques minutes. C'était un moment magique : j'en ai oublié
le froid glacial. C'est mon plus beau moment de fan et mon plus beau
souvenir du Canada. Céline has been my favorite artist for some time now; but this past
year, 2002, has been especially special for me. I was diagnosed with
breast cancer in 1999 and since then have been volunteering at our local
Susan G. Komen Foundation (Race for the Cure) office. We planned a celebration
for all breast cancer survivors at our semi-pro baseball park with our
main theme being "I’m Alive". We formed a pink ribbon
on the field with our survivors listening to Céline sing her
song with the words on a huge video screen for all to sing along with
us. I still get tears and goose bumps every time I hear the song. God
bless Céline---glad to have you back with us.
My favorite moment was Céline on Oprah. She was so vibrant and refreshed.
René-Charles was with her and the moment with him crawling on the stage
and Céline speaking to René-Charles in French was priceless! She

When I saw Céline giving an interview to E! Entertainment TV, I realized
she’s more than a wonderful singer: she’s an authentic, funny and great
woman. As I live in Venezuela, it’s hard to get news about her. That moment
gave me an opportunity to know her as a human being.
I love the Vivement Dimanche show broadcast in March 2002… When Céline
met with Hughes Auffray after he had sung Dis Moi Céline, she was so emotional
and had to have a kleenex for ages to wipe away the tears. That is the wonderful
sensitive side of Céline… she is amazing.
My personal favorite Céline moment of 2002 is when I met Céline
by accident in NYC on June 2, 2002 outside CNN studios. I talked to her for a
second or two and when I turned to walk away I walked into a pole!! She was laughing,
I was laughing, even René was laughing.
