2006 was a year of celebration for Celine! In addition to celebrating the 25th Anniversary of her career, Celine commemorated the 500th performance her spectacular Las Vegas show, A New Day...! Two wax statues of Celine were unveiled (one in Paris and one in Las Vegas)! Celine also launched two successful fragrances; Always Belong (Belong Sparkling Edition in Europe) and the very popular scent Enchanting. Earlier in the year, Celine took part in several charity events, including the H.E.A.R.T. concert with Elton John and was interviewed for numerous TV shows and magazines. In March, we asked TeamCeline members to tell us about their favourite Celine moment of 2006. The TeamCeline members who sent us the following submissions will receive an autographed photograph of Celine!

My favourite moment of 2006, that featured none other than the world class Celine Dion, would be her H.E.A.R.T performance with Elton John. Not only was Celine giving her talent and time to such a great cause, when her life is so busy, with a New Day and also raising a son and having time to dedicate to her marriage, she is able to give all herself to entertain the masses. I thought two pop idols together for charity is pop history. Celine and Elton were having fun together and making miracles happen and this is something that cannot be forgotten in 2006.

My favorite Celine moment in 2006 for sure was the celebrating of her 25th Anniversary of her career. When I think about Celine's career - how young she started it and all the things she has accomplished during these 25 years - And Celine is only 39! She had the opportunity and the blessing of having an amazing career. Celine worked hard to conquer everything she has today, of course, but it's not only about hard work. You have to have lot of luck! And she surely did and does! Celine could break many barriers and the poof is right here: She's singing at foreign country with "A New Day" show - C‚line, that beautiful woman from Canada, francophone, singing at an English country. Isn't that amazing?!? I guess she reached the top of the mountain with "A New Day" show - she took the risk and it surely worth it. As a fan, I feel very "proud" of her. But what really amazed me is the fact that after these 25 years, she still is that little girl from Charlemagne. Now I really wonder what the future deserves for her - what's next? I just wish her all the best, she surely deserves it!

Pour moi c'est l'inauguration de la réplique en cire exposée au musée Grévin à Paris. Ceci a été très spécial pour moi parce que mon rêve est de pouvoir rencontrer Céline. En vrai je n'ai pas encore pu le réaliser. En concert je l'ai déjà vue mais elle n'était pas si proche de moi. Par contre au Grévin j'ai pu poser avec elle et du coup j'ai fait un agrandissement de la photo pour pouvoir la mettre dans ma chambre. Au moins quand je me lève le matin je suis heureux quand je vois cette photo. J'espère qu'un beau jour je pourrai être avec la vraie Céline et là je pourrai dire que mon rêve sera devenu réalité...

My favorite Celine moment was when she was on 'Deal or No Deal'. I thought it was so awesome that she got on the show and surprised one of her fans. Celine was so funny and nervous, since the game is so nerve-racking. I loved watching it. And seeing Celine just being herself and doing something fun, was a wonderful treat!

Le moment qui m'a le plus marqué en 2006 a été lors des 25 ans de carrière de Céline. Cela a été très touchant pour moi car ça m'a permis de voir des images que je n'avais jamais vues de Céline car je n'ai que 13 ans. Et de plus, cela nous a rappelé tous les efforts et le courage que Céline a dû mettre pour y arriver. Elle nous a démontré qu'elle est une personne disciplinée, dévouée, au grand coeur durant toute sa carrière. Donc, de pouvoir lui rendre hommage de cette façon m'a beaucoup touchée et m'a rendue fière d'être Québécoise. Mais surtout cela m'a donné goût de croire en mes rêves. Céline Je t'adore!

Taking my husband to see Celine in Las Vegas was great, but, having our photograph taken with Celine's statue was the next best thing to meeting the real Celine! Seeing him wrap his arm around her waist was unforgettable. Celine & her music has always been a huge part of our lives, so this moment was one of the most memorable to me. I will treasure it always.

I have a lot of favourite moments, but the one that means the most to me personally is her video message from the Outgames opening ceremony in July. It might seem ridiculous, but to feel that unconditional love and support in the middle of you "identity search" means/meant the world to me :) to me, it can't get any more special than that.

My favourite moment of 2006 with Celine was seeing her on the Tyra Banks show, because it's interviews like that that we really see how nice a person Celine is, and what she is like in real life. Also it was interesting to see the types of artists she listens to, which was also mentioned in the interview. I also thought it was cool seeing her on the American version of deal or no deal.

My favourite Celine moment of 2006 was hearing about Celine's plans to celebrate her 500th show. It was special for me as once again Celine finds a way to give back to others and amazingly raises over $1,000,000. This incredible achievement highlights Celine's popularity and her ability to gain support from all those around her. No matter what status Celine reaches in this world, her consideration for others is indisputable. Whether she takes the time to smile for a fan or gives time to raise millions for others she is an inspiration and the world is a better place because of her and that is why she remains so special to me.

Le moment le plus marquant de la carrière de Céline en 2006 est certainement le dévoilement de sa statue de cire à Las Vegas. En plus d'avoir une à son effigie à Paris, Céline a eu le privilège d'être doublement honorée. Cette deuxième réplique de mon idole m'a énormément marquée, puisque dès son dévoilement, je savais que j'aurais la possibilité de la voir. C'est ainsi que le 6 octobre dernier, accompagnée de ma meilleure amie, j'ai eu la chance de me faire photographier avec les deux dames les plus importantes de ma vie, soit ma copine Katerine et Céline, du moins, ce qui la représente. Ce moment est le plus beau de ma vie. Non seulement j'ai réalisé‚ mon plus grand rêve de voir ma chanteuse préférée en spectacle, mais j'ai pu également apporter dans mes valises un souvenir inestimable : une photo o— la statue est à mes côtés. Bravo Céline ! Cette statue de cire est à la fois un lègue pour les enfants de sa famille, mais surtout elle donne l'opportunité aux plus grands fans d'avoir un souvenir de leur passage au Colosseum, puis de réaliser leur rêve, tout comme moi.
