Today is Celine's sister, Manon's birthday. Manon remembers that as a child, Celine was a dreamer who liked to play with her dolls and imagine her own little world. Manon has travelled around the world with Celine as her personal assistant, most recently on the Taking Chances World Tour, but she'll always remember the first trip Celine ever took. She was 14 and they went to Florida with their parents.
Celine Congratulates David Foster on his North American Tour! October 6, 2009
One of the first producers Celine worked with on her inaugural English album 'Unison' was David Foster. That sparked a musical relationship that has spanned decades. David has produced some of Celine's greatest hits, including "All By Myself" and the timeless classic "Because You Loved Me". Starting this month, David will hit the road for his 10-city David Foster & Friends Tour and Celine couldn't be happier for him:

Celine Nominated for 2 Felix Awards September 29, 2009
Celine is nominated in two categories for this year's ADISQ awards: DVD of the Year for 'Céline sur les Plaines' and Quebecois Artist Having The Most Success Outside of Quebec. The DVD of the Year award will be presented during the "Gala de l'industrie" (in French only) ceremony on October 26, while the award for the second category will be presented on live television during "L'autre Gala" (in French only). This special award show will be broadcast on Musique Plus and MusiMax at 8:00 pm (ET) on October 26.

Today is Celine's sister, Louise's birthday. Louise remembers that when Celine was born, she really enjoyed helping her mother take care of her little sister. She says that Celine was never a difficult child . Louise recalls that Celine's favourite game as a child was to dress up and have her picture taken!

September 2001 was a tragic and trying month for people all over the world. Although the events of September 11 left many saddened, millions were inspired to show their love and support for all the heroes that sacrificed themselves to save others. On September 21, 2001, Celine delivered a stirring rendition of "God Bless America" on a telethon entitled 'America: A Tribute to Heroes.' Celebrities from the world of movies, television, sports and music came together to raise more than $50 million dollars to help the victims of the attacks and their families.

Celine in Television Commercial for Charity September 16, 2009
Celine is featured in a new television commercial for the popular Quebec restaurant franchise, St-Hubert. Every year, a celebrity tapes a light-hearted commercial for the restaurant and donates their appearance fee to their charity of choice. Celine chose to donate her fee to the Quebec Cystic Fibrosis Association (in French only). This new commercial, which premiered on September 14, can now be seen on major television networks in Quebec - be sure to keep an eye out for it!
