Last year, the James Bond movie franchise celebrated its 50th anniversary. Did you know that Celine’s song “If You Asked Me To” has a James Bond connection? The song, originally recorded by Patti Labelle, was featured on the soundtrack of the James Bond movie License to Kill in 1989. A few years later, Celine recorded the song for her 1992 album ‘Celine Dion’ and released it as the second single. Written by Diane Warren, “If You Asked Me To” became a big hit for Celine. It reached the number one position on the US Hot Adult Contemporary Tracks chart and on the Contemporary Hit Radio chart in Canada!
