Lindt Gold Bunny Autographed by Celine Up For Auction!

Easter is just around the corner and once again this year, Lindt chocolate makers are organizing their Gold Bunny Celebrity Auction. More than 90 celebrities, including Celine, from the world of entertainment, sports and culinary arts have signed porcelain versions of the famous bunny. These signed bunnies are being auctioned off on eBay. All funds raised will be donated to Autism Speaks, a global organization dedicated to research, awareness, promoting, and defending the rights of persons with autism. You have until Friday, March 15 to place your bid!

Brice, absolutely. The word has always been "when something is confirmed, when it's actually happening, when we get the word, that's when we'll give everyone the lowdown." And that is a fair thing to say, theoretically. But it's not happening. It's like all we've had to go on are vague release date expectations like "end of Spring 2012" and then we hear nothing, so all we can do is expect to see it then. And then when it's like, July 2012, we get "Oh it'll be out in the Fall." Which is irritating, but what can you do?
Now Rene is actually giving statements to newspapers concerning the album's release and new direction. What about letting the news sit down HERE first, for the people who've been so anxious and frustrated with the lack of discussion concerning the album? I know the site runners can't get up in Rene's face and wag their fingers at him, but couldn't there be some general agreement that things like that get to be on the website first? We could all probably accept the notion that nothing will be posted here until it's confirmed by Celine's management, but not even that is happening. And for the arrival of Unfinished Songs to not even get a blurb... if Celine puts the song in her act tomorrow though, I'm sure the directive will come down to post on this site like "Celine is singing her new song in her Vegas show! Come out to Nevada to hear it live!"

They keep saying that they will keep us posted when something is official. Now this is official, the song is out, it is played everyday in theaters at the end of the movie. Yesterday, it was finally made available in good quality thanks to the interview of Terence Stamp with Elaine Paige. And still not a single word on the official website. Not a single snippet of the song to give the impression that they actually care for Celine's musical career.
We know that Celine Dion is generous. We're glad and proud that she's making all this charity stuff, but what we would like to read on the official website of our favorite SINGER is some music-related information.

That's a real great cause, and it's nice that Celine is helping to raise money for it.

Sorry, but someone had to do it. To be honest I feel bad for the web runners here, because obviously the people close to Celine should be giving them this info, as well info about the new album now consisting solely of new songs, but they're not. We're getting all of this information from random sources in the corner.

Well, this is a truly wonderful cause! Some lucky person will win the auction for the autographed bunny! I am also eso excited to hear that unfinished songs is on radio in UK...can hardly wait until it comes here....and new english album coming in the fall with all new material (and unfinished songs) sounds fantastic...soooooooo exciting!!!
