Gone are the fantastic choreographies of A New Day..., Celine’s entire Las Vegas show is based on music. One of the challenges for musical director Claude “Mégo” Lemay is to give the songs that the public already knows, a new and different sound. For this, he incorporated more instruments into the show. Usually, Celine is backed by her band of 10 instruments such as the guitar, bass and violin. For the Las Vegas show, 16 additional string instruments and 5 horns were added. Instruments such as trumpets and saxophones create a level of intensity and drama to Celine’s songs; the magic is all in the musical arrangements! For those who have seen Celine’s Las Vegas show, did you feel like you were discovering her songs all over again?

This show is what a true artist is capable of delivering. Natural God-given ability with talented musicians who bring the orchestra to the songs in a way that presents the original arrangements with a deeper and richer sound. This show was tear-inducing and simply "honest". Celine's talent is so amazing and I was blessed to get the opportunity to be in her presence. I only wish I was able to go again before she leaves in August.

I saw Celine three times the first time was her first show A New Day which was my first Celine concert ever. Still has a special place in my heart. The second time was her Taking Chances tour. But, Celine s new show is phenomenal its amazing with the Orchestra. It adds, a whole new level to her old songs, and her new songs as well. Can't wait to go back for a fourth time next year hopefully.

The musical instrumentation adds a depth and breadth to the already fantastic music. When augmented with the lighting effects, the show is absolutely wonderful and breathtaking. While Celine could perform each number accapella and hit each note perfectly, the newly added dimensions of the brass and strings bring a deeper emotion to her songs, bringing the focus onto Celine, just as a well framed and matted combination brings out the greatest of beauty from a photo. All are having a wonderful time on stage.....one can fake a smile but not the body language of pure enjoyment with what they do. The solo and ensembles that perform during costume changes are refreshing and entertaining in their own right. As the show has progressed over the past 12+ months, changes have occurred....while some of the changes are more popular than others, all have been blended well with seamless transitions. Mr. Lemay and the production team have done a wonderful job. None of the shows auditory or visual effects take away from Celine's beautiful voice. It's actually more than a concert.....it's an experience so incredibly awesome that it seeps into your soul, bringing with it some of the joy, peace and comfort that each of us seeks.

Yes I totally agree! I have seen the show and it is so wonderful. The songs are breathtaking with the orchestra. It truly is amazing..........

I've seen the show twice now and it's just different ... I would say it is demanding ...
The whole show is something special and Celine and her voice gives the performance an extra shine and all effect. They can sometimes otherwise fantastic show which facets still stuck in her voice. I love it.

The new orchestral sound is fantastic can't wait to see it again in a couple of months!

I haven't seen her on stage(i wish one day) but with or without music Celine can sing her songs or other songs absolutely amazing!!!!

Not more instruments, but less... Celine's voice is amazing, we could listen to it more accurately if show was acoustic!

Saw Celine for the 2nd. time on Tuesday !! Her voice is as amazing as ever ! and ,YES !, the orchestra is a wonder background for her singing! It is a spellbinding show ! Hope tp go again next year ! CELINE fan forever !

This is something that I love to see in an artist: how he or she evolves and never stops trying new things. In this case, Celine re-invented each and every of the songs she performs for this show with these new arrangements.

I haven't seen neither the new or her previous show, but I feel "A new day..." was more vivid. I've got the DVD and it's extraordinary, truly a piece of art. Her new show, "Celine", probably is more dramatic as mentioned, but equally exceptional. I can't tell much about her new show, but I believe it will be surely magical..
