We regret to inform you that the following Celine performances have been cancelled:
Saturday, February 25
Sunday, February 26
Tuesday, February 28
Wednesday, February 29
Celine is battling a virus that has caused inflammation of her vocal chords. She is currently receiving treatment for this condition, and has been instructed to rest for the next 7 days, in order to fully recover.
Celine is very upset about disappointing her fans, and wants to apologize for inconveniencing them.
Celine would like to express the following statement to fans who had tickets for these cancelled shows.
"I feel terrible about not being able to do these shows. I feel so bad for the fans. I don't like to let people down....it's the thing that bothers me more than anything. I really hope everyone understands how sorry I am.”
Performances are planned to resume as scheduled beginning Saturday, March 3.
Ticket holders for the cancelled performance have the following options for exchange or refund:
TICKET EXCHANGE
You may exchange your tickets for a future performance of Celine at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace (subject to availability). To exchange for a future performance, you must turn in your actual tickets at The Colosseum Box Office, or call Ticketmaster (if that was the original point of purchase) at 1-877-4CELINE (423-5463).
TICKET REFUNDS
Credit Cards – Orders purchased with a credit card for the cancelled performance will be automatically refunded to the credit card used for purchase.
Cash - Those who purchased tickets with cash may present tickets at the original point of sale for a refund. Ticket holders who purchased through Ticketmaster may call 1-877-4CELINE (423-5463).

Re: February 25 to 29 Shows Cancelled
Hello from Israel,
First of all I wish Celine to get well soon this the most important thing!!!
Unfortunately I was one of the fans that flew 10,000 miles (15 hours) just to see her show and was very disappointed actually I was devastated to hear that the show was cancelled. I waited 8 years to see her concert, saved money and now I don't know if I would be able to come back again.
I'm not here to complain about the lost of my expenses & time and I don't ask for any reimbursement, this is force major case nobody is blame here, not Celine or the shows producers, but I do understand the people who complain about it. I think some compensation may please the disappointed fans.
The one thing that do upset me is why there was no information about her sickness on the website, now there is but last week there was nothing. My only guess is they didn't know how serious her sickness was, I think everybody assumed it will be a matter of few days.
But there is nothing to cry about anymore sometimes things that not under control can happen.
Health is the most important thing and therefore I will pray for Celine to get well soon.
Celine we love you and we always will no matter what.
Miri.
Re: February 25 to 29 Shows Cancelled
Like many of Celine's fans I too am very disappointed but understand that health issues can not be prevented. I have read many posts regarding cancelled shows and can understand both sides; supporting Celine during her illness and the disappoinment of the fans that have spent thousands of dollars to come a see her. I have watched Celine for the past 10 years and have been blessed enough to watch her current show but I too had tickets for a show in March which is no longer a possibility. My dedication and faith in Celine has not wavered even an inch through this difficult time but I am like many who have saved money for months to be able to see her again; money that can not be refunded. I have no reason to go to Las Vegas other than to see Celine, as many fans have posted. When I read that the hotel and involved agencies are not responsible for aquired cost (flights, transportation, hotels, and so on) I was very saddened and disappointed because actually that would be a very doable thing for Celine to assist her fans much in the same way they have assisted her over the many years of her career. I have bought every CD, DVD, her perfumes, clothes, sunglasses, and her book which I am sure many other fans have done plus more; it would be awesome to have those that have supported her receive the same in return when something like cancelled show occur. I know that she gives so much to her fans with her voice and please know that I am so thankful for her. Again, I love Celine and that will NEVER change, but I would like to be able to see her again and that is not a possibility without reinbursement. Please get well soon Celine!!!! You will be my favorite always!!!!! kristikuhn@hotmail.com
Re: February 25 to 29 Shows Cancelled
I was extremely disappointed when my partner woke up to his email in our Vegas htoel room saying the show was cancelled. It was a christmas gift from him to me and i was extremely excited as i grew up listening to this wonderful voice. It put a downer on the trip.
I can understand that she is extremely ill and needs to rest her voice but people are still entitled to express their opinions and feelings without judgement there are a lot of fans that travelled from the other side of the world including myself travelling from Ireland where she has only performed once and i was lucky enough to have been to that concert
Of course I will try my best to come back to Vegas to see her before her time in Vegas is up but as its expensive to come from Ireland i cant be guaranteed to be able to see her.
Giving out to people expressing their feelings is pointless as their opinions wont change and im sure Celine herself predicted the outcome of her fans feelings and understands their feelings of disappointment as much as they understand with her voice she has to take care and get better.
i wish celine all the best and hopefully i will be able to save up to come see her before the end of 2014
Re: February 25 to 29 Shows Cancelled
Thank you Alissadough84 for your responses. Also for correcting my English and providing me with Ticketmasters policy to indemnify themselves of any responsibility regarding cancellations. This Is my opinion and although you might find in ridiculous I'm entitled to it. As I mentioned in my note - this was not targeted or against Celine but the corporations that so poorly managed the communication. Have a lovely day and work on those anger issues.
Re: February 25 to 29 Shows Cancelled
Hi from Norway!
Get well Celine! It is to bad you had to cancel all those shows! But, the only thing you should think of - it is yourself and your lovely family..
And to all of you complaining: are you really FANS? Celine is not a robot, she is a person - and as you, she can get sick to.. Think before you write, or post anything!!
Anyway, hope to get to see your show in Vegas next year Celine - I really look forward to it! You are my inspiration!!
Joe

Re: February 25 to 29 Shows Cancelled
I am one of those fans that had purchased tickets for Celine's concert dates that were cancelled due to a virus.
My friends and I paid $222 for the tickets, but that doesn't include the hotel and transportation costs (my friends drove from Mexico City!); another $500.
The least she could have done for the INCONVENIENCE is ship us a signed copy of her latest album.
Sorry, an apology is NOT enough. They didn't even offer to buy us a complimentary drink.
It's not as if she couldn't afford it; we've helped her to become a zillionaire and she could have at least done that much for our investment.
All I can say is...NEVER again.
Re: February 25 to 29 Shows Cancelled
I just have to add that I understand why people are upset. I would have been devastated. But I also agree that it is more important for Celine to rest her voice and follow doctors orders. If she ruins her voice to please 3000 fans, she will be upsetting millions of fans who have yet to hear her perform.
Re: February 25 to 29 Shows Cancelled
juancarlosla, your post is absolutely ridicilous, I don't have the time or the energy to go through and hit on everything you posted. But, I will humor you. If you are going to file a complaint, may I suggest spelling the hotel's name correctly: Caesars Palace.
Oh, and this:
INABILITY TO PROVIDE CUSTOMERS/GUESTS/FANS WITH THE GOOD FAITH GESTURE TO ACCOMMODATE FOR THE CANCELLATION / AND ANY INCONVENIENCE
- No party wanted to take responsibility for the cancellation
I am pretty positive that Celine took responsibility for the cancellation, seeing that she is the performer and the one who is sick and all.
Oh, and look. Here is Ticketmater's cancellation policy: Looks like they followed it.
Canceled or Rescheduled Events
In either case, we'll alert you ASAP.
Canceled Events - If your event was canceled, in most cases you won't need to do a thing: we'll inform you of the cancellation and refund the amount you paid for your tickets, including all fees (except UPS and retail pickup, and fees on certain Major League Baseball purchases) on the same payment method used for purchase. If you bought your tickets at a retail outlet, please return them at the same location.

RE: FORMAL COMPLAINT AGAINST CELINE DION SHOW CANCELLATION
To whom it may concern:
My name is Juan Acosta and I am one of the thousands of customers/fans/guests that were impacted by the Celine Dion Show Cancellations this week. I would like to start by saying that we understand the severity of her illness and wish her a speedy recovery. This letter is not intended to create an insensitive portrayal of the fans BUT is intended to shed light and recap the poor management by the corporations involved with the cancellation of this show including: CESAR’S PALACE, The COLOSSEUM AT CESAR’S PALACE, TICKETMASTER, AEG LIVE, and MS. DION’S MANAGEMENT - FEELING PRODUCTIONS INC.
As the corporations involved are aware, such headliners as Ms. Dion attract worldwide tourism to the Las Vegas area and specifically in our case, we created our entire itinerary around the tickets that were purchased for the Celine Dion Show scheduled for Sunday, February 26th at 730p. In fact, we would not have traveled to Las Vegas if it wasn’t for the Celine Dion Show. As such, the impact of the cancellation is not only related to the fair value costs of the tickets that were purchased through Ticketmaster but also the sunk costs such as airfare from our home in Miami, Florida, lodging in Las Vegas, and our time that will not be reimbursed due to the cancellation. As such, I’m writing this email to highlight our grievances and file a formal complaint in order to get the parties involved to correct this unfortunate situation before taking further legal action.
Below please find a summary of events that transpired not even 24 hours before the show cancellation:
POORLY MANAGED CANCELLATION AND COMMUNICATION
- After we had already traveled and were in Las Vegas we received a phone message less than 24 hours prior to the show that it was canceled due to Ms. Dion’s illness;
- We also received the below email for your reference – stating that the show was canceled and we’d be receiving a refund (although they’ve been holding our money for more than 6 months) – no other alternatives were provided;
- No rescheduling was offered or option to receive tickets or accommodations to future shows as a good faith gesture by all parties;
- After doing some further research, we noted that Ms. Dion had been on a break the entire month of February and was scheduled to return the week of the cancellations. If she was ill prior to returning why weren’t the guests notified with sufficient time in order to cancel / reschedule flights / hotels / etc? Instead, we were tagged along until the last minute after all costs were incurred and notified of such cancellation less than 24 hours prior to the show.
COLOSSEUM / TICKETMASTER BOX OFFICE
- The worst part of this entire ordeal was the lack of customer service received from CESAR’S PALACE, the BOX OFFICE AT THE COLOSSEUM, and TICKETMASTER.
- Very poor customer service all around. Attendants were rude and were not offering any type of apologies. They responses were, “Don’t you get sick?”, “It is what it is”, “We can’t do anything about it” – Is this the type of service that is representative of this city, hotel, and such artists as Ms. Dion? – I would certainly hope not.
- Left several messages with the AEG LIVE COLOSSEUM SUPERVISOR, Ms. Wight, and received no response.
INABILITY TO PROVIDE CUSTOMERS/GUESTS/FANS WITH THE GOOD FAITH GESTURE TO ACCOMMODATE FOR THE CANCELLATION / AND ANY INCONVENIENCE
- No party wanted to take responsibility for the cancellation
- We received no alternatives / good faith gesture / our want to accommodate the guests / fans / customers for the inconvenience, disappoint, and lost money and time.
- We understand that this happens but the least that can be done is accommodate guests with a airfare / two night stay at Cesar’s, tickets to the show with the same seats that were purchased for the show at a later date. But the truth of the matter is NOTHING WAS DONE AND THERE WAS NO INTENT TO MAKE THE CONSUMER WHOLE ON THEIR LOSSES BEYOND THE TICKET REIMBURSEMENT.
In addition to the disappoint of not being able to attend the Celine Dion Show (as we’ve been planning of the last 6 months), a last minute cancellation, and now we need to go through these avenues to try and get the parties involved to react to their wrongdoing and once again taking advantage of the consumer.
All worldwide fans that were treated unfairly during this process - please post your thoughts on the following FACEBOOK PAGE: CELINE DION FANS - SHOW CANCELLATION SITE
http://www.facebook.com/pages/Celine-Dion-Fans-Show-Cancellation-Site/36...
A disappointed fan,
Re: February 25 to 29 Shows Cancelled
Tessahuff, you shouldn't live your life with what if's. I will be there next week and if the show I'm going to see is cancelled I will get my money back for the show but enjoy the rest of my vacation in Vegas with NO regrets that I made plans to go!!! And if the show isn't cancelled then I will see an awesome entertainer!!!!!

Re: February 25 to 29 Shows Cancelled
I understand where you guys are coming from when you say "Celine is human and her health is the most important thing." Yes, you are right none of us would expect (or want) her to perform when she is ill but you also need to try to see things from the perspective of fans who might have saved for a very long time to pay for flights and hotels in addition to very expensive tickets just to see the show. It is understandable that they are disappointed and upset. I too, want very much to see Celine's show. I love her! I wanted to see the first one and never made it. We would have to fly cross country to do so and seeing Celine would be the ONLY reason we would go to Vegas. I have a BIG birthday coming up in a couple of weeks and I have been peeling over the website for days on end looking for really good tickets to the show at a price that we can afford (obviously that would not be the VIP seats). I also checked out hotels and airfare and found that this trip would cost us thousands just for a few days. I actually considered the splurge..what the hell it is my 60th birthday and I can think of no better way to celebrate it than sitting in the first few rows of this spectacular Celine show. But now, after seeing that shows have been cancelled just a couple of weeks before we had hoped to see the show, I feel relieved that I didn't blow the money...my other half would have KILLED me. This situation brings to light a senerio that I had not even previously considered. Had I bought show tickets, plane tickets and booked a hotel, I would be furious too..not at Celine, she can't help that she is sick, I would be furious at myself for not having given a thought to the possibility that something of this nature could happen at MY expense! For once I am grateful that I did not book tickets. I personally can't think of anything worse than having 2 plane tickets to Vegas, an expensive hotel booked, airport transportation to and from the airport paid, vacation days taken from work, 2 tickets to see Celine and then.. that dreaded phone call saying that the show has been cancelled. #%*@#!!!
Re: February 25 to 29 Shows Cancelled
Ok get over it people she's going to be in Vegas for a while! You will have plenty of chances to see her!
I just might change my mind and let you in my life forever!
Re: February 25 to 29 Shows Cancelled
Awwww. I hope you feel better Celine. Your health comes first at the end of the day. If she didnt take this break now it could get worst and she could be out even longer. All of our prayers are with you
Love to dream Dream to love
Re: February 25 to 29 Shows Cancelled
I agree with jmcadman and simonaloveceline. Shame on any of you who are complaining and calling yourself real fans. People get sick, I imagine that most of you have gotten sick at one point or another. Just because you didn't let down 3,000 people, I am sure you let down someone.
At least Celine and the people around her do what is in her best interest. Even if it is not in yours as a fan. Celine is a true professional and if you know anything about her, I am sure that you know she is devestated. I would rather see her miss a week of shows than do any damage to her vocal cords, and not be able to perform at all.
The hotel, ticketmaster, none of them owe you anything. It's not their fault.
Re: February 25 to 29 Shows Cancelled
Hi Celine,
it´s bad to be ill, but i hope you get well soon.
With best wishes from Germany

Re: February 25 to 29 Shows Cancelled
Hi Celine,
I have a ticket for the concert March 4th(front row) which my kids got me 6 months ago as my birthday gift and I have been excited and counting the days. I must say I was sad to heard the concert might not go on, but the important thing is that you get better!!!! If it is meant to be the show will go one if not there is always next time. I know you feel bad for us your fans, but as your fans we want you to get better!!! I am still going to Las Vegas as my son lives there and enjoy my time with him...With all my heart I wish you a very speedy recovery..I will keep you in my prayers..Love a true fan..
Re: February 25 to 29 Shows Cancelled
OMG can`t believe you people!!!!!! All these complaints!!! COME ON!!!! Celine is a human being not a singing robot!!! These things happen so calm down !!!!!
Celine take care of yourself and don`t worry - the TRUE FANS understand you
I hope you`ll feel better soon
Love you <33

Re: February 25 to 29 Shows Cancelled
Wishing you speedy recovery, Celine.
I'm looking forward to watching you live in 2 weeks time.
God Bless!
Re: February 25 to 29 Shows Cancelled
Re: February 25 to 29 Shows Cancelled
I am shocked at these "fans" of Celine! I can understand the disappointment of being told some shows have been cancelled but she's sick! Asking for more then a refund of your ticket is ridiculous!! Get well soon Celine!!
Re: February 25 to 29 Shows Cancelled
You know Celine I just love you and your music, But you are a wonderful person and human not to mention a Pro! You have a beautiful family but people do get sick and you are doing the right thing by taking a break and resting and listening to your doctor. Your fan's will understand and will be back because when you are at the Top you are at your best!!!!!!!
Re: February 25 to 29 Shows Cancelled
I must say I was extremely upset when i got off work and checked my voicemail. When i saw the caller ID saying "Las Vegas" i knew something was wrong and when I listened to the voicemail I became very disappointed. This is something i really looked forward to and saved money and took time off work. But I feel worse for all the fans who have to travel from the other side of the world to get the news that the show was canceled. The colosseum or Celine Dion should give us something better that just a refund or exchange! Thats pointless to me and many fans. I can understand we can't get a meet and greet due to the fact that theres thousands of us but at least a big discount would help. We spend hard earned money on flights and hotels just to go see the show. I just hope you feel better and maybe I'll see you later in time.
Re: February 25 to 29 Shows Cancelled
Hello everyone, I am sorry to hear Celine had to cancel more shows. What is most important now is that she gets well, she rests with her family and loved ones, and that we can continue to enjoy her voice for years to come.
I flew in from Norway for the show of the 22nd of February, I felt pretty bad when I heard it had been cancelled just 30 min before it started, but already I have made the resolution of coming back to Vegas and see the show.
It would be nice if as many of us who did not get to see the shows these dates, could eventually see it together later this year. I would be happy to be surrounded by true fans who, even though have lived a sad experience now, I am sure will enjoy more than anyone else when we see the show in the future.
Feel free to drop me a message and let's take it from there to have our own group to celebrate Celine, her health and a new time in Vegas!

Re: February 25 to 29 Shows Cancelled
Re: February 25 to 29 Shows Cancelled
Well I have never felt worse. I hope you get well soon I really do. But I've flown from London to be here for this once in a lifetime trip. I'm in my hotel room in tears. This has cost so much money and I feel it has been such a waste. I think the organisers should set up a meet and greet for those fans who have travelled globally to be here and are left so disappointed. Those fans that do manage to come back, again at great cost, I think would love a photo opportunity with Celine. We love her so much. A meet before the show would be a great thing to offer back. I think disappointed fans would love this opportunity if and when they manage to make the trip back. Get well soon. Will Richardson will.richardson@mhpc.com
Re: February 25 to 29 Shows Cancelled
Dear Céline,
It's really bad to hear you are sick. I hope you will get better soon and you can do the shows again for the other fans.
Today I was at the Colosseum to pick up my tickets and then I found out the show has been cancelled. I felt and feel really bad! It was my dream since years to see your show and I flew especially to Vegas for this ocassion. The last two weeks the only thing I could think about was your show. When I woke up this morning the first thing I thought about was you. It feels so unreal to sit in my hotelroom while I should have been on your show now.
I need to say I am really disappointed nothing more than a ticket change or a refund is offered. For me, as I am living in The Netherlands, it is not so easy to come back in March to see another show. If there would be a possibility to come back, again I need to pay again for a flight, hotel, etc. and since I am a student that will not be so easy. I saved my money long time for this trip and show.
Céline, I truly hope you will get beter soon and I wish you all the best.
Love,
Tom
Re: February 25 to 29 Shows Cancelled
Sorry to hear you are ill, however, it's a major disappointment after booking and paying for a complete 3 night trip to Vegas for the SPECIAL INTENTION of seeing the 2/29/12 show. Now it's wasted airfare and wasted hotel fees, wasted vacation days in a poor economy. Ironically, the website is still selling tickets for these shows after ticketmaster notified us of the cancellations.
This is the drawback of having to purchase and make plans so far out. I'm even more irritated that this was known for a week and we are getting last minute notice.
Well, Caesar's and Celine - Sayonara. Fool me once. I totally agree with the sentiment posted by Ron & Roe. I thought I was disappointed by Michael Bolton, but this tops it.
Re: February 25 to 29 Shows Cancelled

Re: February 25 to 29 Shows Cancelled
Upset!
It's understadable that people get sick, but something more should be offered to fans who spend their hard earned money on all the plans they make (Airfare,Hotel, Vacation time, etc.) and then get their dream of seeing Celine struck down. I had planned this trip as a surprise for my husband's 60th birthday. We are NOT GAMBLERS, so since it is too late to cancel our flight and motel, this trip will be a waiste of our time and hard earned money! (And I do me hard earned money, as we are farmers!)
Seems that since they knew this a week before our trip they could have given us more notice!
Hope you feel better Celine!
One of your many dissappointed fans.

Re: February 25 to 29 Shows Cancelled
Get well, soon Celine. We know you hate to cancel shows, and let down your fans. But, we love you and want you to feel better so you can sing again.
Re: February 25 to 29 Shows Cancelled
Not happy! I understand that people get sick, but...this seems to be something that occured a week ago. I had purchased the tickets, plane tickets and booked the hotel as a surprise birthday gift for my mother. We are here and I was just notified!!! If someone would have notified the people who purchased the tickets around the 21st, then we could have exchanged the tickets and came at a later date. The day before at 4 pm is a little too late!!!!
Re: February 25 to 29 Shows Cancelled
Celine, I hope you get better sooner. Kiss and love you.
Re: February 25 to 29 Shows Cancelled
So bloody typical. Came all the way from Ireland as a gift to the girlfriend she has been dying to see you for months and this happens. Not as easy for us to just come back in March. Probably wont get to see you again. Very dissapointing !!!!
Re: February 25 to 29 Shows Cancelled
Celine Take care of yourselef and the most important your vocal folds,
We are wating to you to comeback!!
"And comeback tomorrow I'm in the Coluesseum every night"
This sentence says it ALL and starts all
Re: February 25 to 29 Shows Cancelled
I'm sure Celine follow the medical guidelines and will return to the stage soon!
God bless you my angel!
Re: February 25 to 29 Shows Cancelled
I was there 2/22 for the show. There was about 3000 people waiting to get in to the show. About 730pm they gave you a paper saying the show was cancelled. It was close to the police comming in,people where crazy. We spent a lot og time and money for this show, it was a XMAS present for my wife. Then we got a message from Celine thanking us for comming to her show, what show it was cancelled.People get sick, things happen, but you have to handle it better. If your flight gets cancelled the airline will give you something, if the hotel does not have your room you will get something, the list goes on and on, what we got here was not fair, we got a ticket refund, i do not blame Celine, she was sick, but maybe a discount or a upgrade would be nice.
Re: February 25 to 29 Shows Cancelled
Celine I feel very sorry about your illness, its ok you think about us, but you dont have to worry so much, we understand you, at least me.. i love you and i want the best for you,if you have to cancel all the year its ok! its ok you think about us and what we are going to think, but you have to think also in yourself and in your kids, you have to be healthy to play with them... get well soon celine, and dont forget we love you!
