Wow, I love this new discussion topic! It's so debatable.

I feel like Celine's website wants to remember Celine's wondrous moments in her career from the past. Also Celine's family is very important to her, as we know. I don't mind them announcing a siblings birthday. I think it's very kind!

However, I do agree with the comments that talk about how we would like recent news. I feel like on this website we're kind of stuck in the past. Looking at past music videos, past music, past events that are posted on the home page. The most recent thing we've seen on the site is the announcement of Parler A Mon Pere and the music video. I wish there was recent news on the home page so we can know about Celine right now. Not much about what was going on in the past but what is going on now. The past is behind us. We are looking at the present and future.
I don't recall the website posting about when Water and A Flame and Sans Attendre are going to be released, but I might be wrong. I only got the release info on Wiki.

And have you noticed, Sans Attendre means "Without Waiting" in French? We've been waiting since we heard of the new albums. I do wish Water And A Flame came out the week after Sans Attendre. There IS a reason they're not releasing it until next year and we don't know that reason. But at least Sans Attendre will be released! Let's not want everything when we want it. I'm not hating. I'm not angry. I respect Celine and the people part of her career and their decisions. I will be patient.

Okay, I'm done describing my opinion! It was fun. And now we wait.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I think this section is entitled "WHAT'S GOING ON?", and not "What happened 30 years ago?" or "Whose birthday is it?".

DID YOU KNOW that we are craving for REAL news, OFFICIAL news. Couldn't you just for once come up with a real big announcement as one can expect from Celine Dion's official website, instead of sharing ancient information that nobody cares about anymore (or that we already know)... For God's sake, the tracklist for Sans Attendre was revealed on Amazon France website. Could you at least publish the cover artwork, now that's something everybody's been waiting for !

Can Celine's staff afford a good marketing strategy service? I know it's harsh, but come on... any other artist has a website that can provide exclusive and useful information. And not only the artist's 13 siblings' birthdays!

Don't even let me get started on the possible delay for Water and A Flame...

By the way, the very little snippet of Je n'ai pas besoin d'amour, (most likely taken from the recording sessions footage, and published by Le Journal de Montréal of course...) sounds wonderful... Can't wait to hear more!

Please celinedion.com STOP playing with the fans like puppets and say what the hell is going on with the new ENGLISH ALBUM. As a fan I feel ashamed of this absolute LACK of information about the new albums with all the fans, something which we have been patiently waiting for 5 yeas, and now it seems the english album its postponed again for the umpteenth time for 2013.
Enough "news" of "did you know...?" and Vegas concerts or ticket sales, we're fed up of that and things that happened 20 years ago. We want to know what's going on with Céline in 2012 and above all, HER NEW MUSIC!

I would tend to agree with many of these posts. We really don't care about what went on almost 30 years ago. We want official news about the new English album. Is it still scheduled for a November release. We've been left in the dark too long. Tell us something! Please!

I agree with johnb700; please could you give us some more info about Celine's upcoming albums? Specially about the English one, because rumors that the release date of Water and a Flame has been delayed 'till March of next year have just started... And we are all quite worried as fans
