When Celine was nineteen, she performed at the annual convention of CBS Canada at the Esterel, a big hotel in the Laurentides north of Montreal. Along with her three song showcase, Celine was asked to sing a duet with the star of the convention, Dan Hill. Celine and Dan performed his smash hit "Can't We Try", and they brought the house down with a standing ovation.

I love this live duet with Dan Hill.... Funny enough the original singer is Vonda Shepard, of who I also became a big fan after Ally McBeal... It was funny to notice Céline replaced Vonda during a performance!

Mme Dion prenez posistion et aidez nous à faire élire une première première ministre du Québec. Ayez ce courage, vous avez tout vous et rien à perdre que vous ne pourriez perdre. Personne ne cessera de vous aimer pour avoir appuyé Mme Marois et beaucoup vous adulerons pour avoir posé ce geste. Mme Dion un enfant sur 5 ne mange pas à sa faim au Québec. Very interesting, I've heard about this many times before, but I'm still quite not sure about what her little setlist was like. I think it was (Don't know the order):

*Where Does My Heart Beat Now
*Can't We Try (with Dan Hill)
*Have a Heart // Love By Another Name

Does anybody know more about this?
