Celine In Benefit-Concert On October 1 In Montreal

Several Quebec artists, including Celine, will join forces for a benefit concert on October 1 at the Metropolis in Montreal in the memory of lighting technician Denis Blanchette, who was shot and killed on Quebec election night earlier this month. All money raised go to FIDUCIE DENIS BLANCHETTE, a trust fund established to offer financial support to Blanchette’s daughter. For more information on the concert, click here.

Like René said on yesterday's edition of Le Journal De Montreal, they obviously could not refuse the invitation to take part on this event. All my prayers to Denis Blanchette's friends and family, and specially to his young daughter Amy.

I'm sure Céline is going to give us something to remember this next Monday night at Metropolis, I don't know which song she'll sing but I'm sure it's going to be a very emotional performance.
