Today is Celine's brother, Jacques' birthday. He is the seventh child of the family and shares Celine's love of music. Jacques is a guitarist and composer. He composed the melody for Celine's song, "Ce n'était qu'un rêve". Jacques remembers practicing music with his friends in the basement and four-year-old Celine would always try to get to the microphone and sing!

This was one of the first songs presented to Celine to be included on her French album ‘Sans attendre’. With “Si je n’ai rien de toi” (If I have nothing of you), written by Élodie Hesme with music by David Gategno, Celine asks what good is fame and money “If I have nothing of you, if I can’t hear your voice? I become a child, abandoned, hungry, alone her in her room”. “If I have nothing of you, what’s the point of being me?”. It’s a very emotional song with strong imagery. On March 7, 1991, Celine made her debut television acting performance in the Quebec television mini-series “Des fleurs sur la neige”. Celine played the leading role of ‘Élisa T’, a young girl mistreated by her parents for 16 years. Part 1 of this moving, true-story mini-series based on book of the same name, premiered on this day on the network Radio-Canada in Quebec.
