This year marks the 15th anniversary of the ‘Au cœur du stade’ CD and DVD, which beautifully capture Celine’s sold-out performances at the Stade de France in Paris on June 19 and 20, 1999. The live CD includes a mix of French and English songs from the concert. The DVD version features the entire 90-minute concert with extra bonus footage such as the making of ‘S'il suffisait d'aimer’ and ‘Let's Talk About Love’, an appearance by guest star Sir George Martin, and the entire "Tell Him" video.
Over the years, many young female artists have credited Celine for inspiring them to become singers. Among them is Tessane Chin, the season 5 winner of the popular singing competition ‘The Voice’. Tessane performed a duet with Celine on the live season finale show. She said of Celine:
“She is my idol! I remember watching everything she has done since I was a 12-year-old girl.” “She is a woman that I hold regard for. I want to thank her for inspiring me and making me feel that this is possible. Her story is such a story — she is so inspiring with 14 brothers and sisters and living a very modest lifestyle and look at her now!"

The United Nations designated September 21 as International Day of Peace and it is celebrated everywhere around the world. This cause has a special significance for Celine (Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations) since she performed the song “Une colombe” (A Dove) in front of 65,000 people at Montreal’s Olympic Stadium during a visit by Pope John Paul II in September 1984. The song is an ode to love and world peace. Included on her album ‘Mélanie’, this was one of Celine’s first big hits. The track can also be found on the ‘On ne change pas’ compilation.
