Today is Celine's sister, Liette’s birthday. Liette and Celine share a special bond. Celine was a strong moral support for Liette during her daughter's battle with cystic fibrosis. Celine dedicated her song, "Tellement j'ai d'amour pour toi" to Liette in memory of her daughter, Karine.

On this day, in 2006, Celine's original wax statue at the famous Grévin Museum in Paris was unveiled during a special event at the Museum's theatre.
