Great news for all Celine fans! René Angélil has just confirmed that Celine has extended her contract with Caesars Palace and will continue performing on the fantastic stage at the Colosseum for several more years! He hasn’t revealed how long the extension will be. Will you be going to Las Vegas to see Celine?

René Angélil At Cachou Invitational Golf Tournament
Every year, the Sainte-Justine UHC Foundation brings together numerous leaders of the business community for a golf tournament to raise funds for sick children. On Monday, René will participate in this year's Invitational Cachou Tournament, held at Club Laval-sur-le-Lac in Quebec, Canada.
“The Prayer” Performed on American Idol
During the May 22 final performance night of singing competition American Idol, finalist Jessica Sanchez performed “The Prayer”. The song, originally performed as a duet by Celine and Andrea Bocelli is included on Celine’s ‘My Love: Ultimate Essential Collection’ and is a favourite in vocal competitions. Jessica had previously performed “The Prayer” on the show and chose it once again as one of her final songs. What did you think of Jessica Sanchez’s performance?

The first run of shows in March has already sold out; June through August summer performances are going fast. To keep up with ticket demand, an additional 16 shows scheduled between Dec. 28 through Jan. 22, 2012 are on-sale as of Saturday, March 19 at 10 a.m. (PST).
